Betting on horse racing continues to plummet, according to The Jockey Club's monthly figures.
Wagering on U.S. Thoroughbred racing fell 13 percent in February, to $870 million, from $1 billion the same month last year.
U.S. purses were down 13.43 percent to $57 million, from $66 million in February 2009.
Year to date, wagering has dropped 12.5 percent, to less than $1.8 billion.
