A fifth arrest has been made in a 2005 double murder in Bourbon County.

Librado R. Ramirez, 37, of North Middletown was charged with kidnapping and murder after being arrested by state police in Breckinridge County Friday, according to a news release.

Earlier this week, Ediel G. Cruz, 23, was charged with murder, kidnapping and first-degree robbery in the 2005 killings of Miniamin Osorio Lazaro, 19, of Oaxaca, Mexico, and Francisco Garcia Aldaba, 28, of Chihuahua, Mexico. Deer hunters found their remains on Nov. 13, 2005, while on a farm at 901 Stoney Point Road, less than 5 miles from the Clark County line. The bodies were found in the woods about a mile from the farm's entrance.

Three others arrested in the case were charged with kidnapping and first-degree robbery.

Ramirez was lodged at the Bourbon County jail. More arrests are expected in the case, the release said. State police were not able to give more details on the investigation Saturday.
