Lexington printer-maker Lexmark International announced last week that it has been awarded a five-year purchase agreement by the federal Social Security Administration.

The deal for monochrome and color laser and multifunction printers is expected to reach $127 million, according to a company news release.

The printers will be used for general office printing and other printing needs by the more than 62,000 employees in the federal administration's 1,500 global locations.
