Lexington police have not made any arrests in the Friday shooting death of a 33-year-old man on the city's north side.

Police said Sunday that they were looking for a man whom officers saw fleeing the area of Sixth and Seventh streets about 8:45 p.m. Friday. Stephen Kavanaugh was shot multiple times and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police are looking for a black male in his mid-20s, who was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and dark pants. It's not clear whether the man was directly involved in the shooting. Police spent much of the weekend looking for the man.

Anyone with any information about Kavanaugh's death should contact Bluegrass Crime Stoppers at 1-877-970-2020.
