Lexington police were looking Saturday for a woman that robbed a bank on Southland Drive.

A woman, concealing her face with a surgical mask and dark sunglasses, entered the lobby of Forcht Bank at 140 Southland Drive about 9:26 a.m., police said.

She demanded money from a teller, implying she was armed by hiding one of her hands inside a bag she was carrying. The woman fled with an undisclosed amount of cash. She left in what was believed to be a Toyota Camry parked in the bank's lot.

The car's license plate was covered with a dark bag. The vehicle was last seen on Southland Drive heading towards Nicholasville Road, according to the police report.

The woman was described as white in her mid-30s to 40s. She was about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighed about 150 pounds. She was wearing a dark toboggan; white, long-sleeved, button-down shirt; and black pants. She was carrying a blue canvas like bag.

No customers were present during the robbery, police said. No weapon was displayed, and no one was injured.
