Hospital to benefit from Foals of Hope

July 7, 2010

Foals of Hope, a collaborative exhibition from Institute 193 and UK Arts in Healthcare, features three foals donated by Horse Mania 2010 and designed by Lexington groups to express their vision of hope for the future.

The Latitude Artist Community, a group geared toward helping people with disabilities; Kreative Catz, a volunteer group of UK fine art students who work with Kentucky Children's Hospital patients; and the UK art education department decorated the foals, which will be auctioned to benefit Kentucky Children's Hospital.

The foals will be on display Thursday through July 15 at Institute 193, 193 North Limestone. An opening exhibit reception will be 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Institute 193.
