The Kentucky Department of Agriculture is hosting its first Farm to School Summit on Wednesday as part of an effort to education food service directors about using Kentucky products.

The day-long workshop aims to educate school system employees about the benefits of using locally grown food and will discuss how schools can connect with local farmers.

The workshop is open only to pre-registered employees from Kentucky school districts.
