The sentencing of former University of Kentucky basketball player Ed Davender was postponed until Aug. 27 Friday pending new charges accusing him of taking money for tickets he didn't have.

In May, Davender pleaded guilty in Fayette Circuit Court to 19 counts of theft by deception after investigators say he sold nonexistent tickets to 19 people. While on bond awaiting sentencing on those charges, Davender was charged with another count of theft by deception; he is accused of offering a Louisville man tickets to the 2010 Final Four.

From December through March, Richard Adams, 50, gave Davender a total of $4,000 for 14 tickets, according to court documents. Davender did not provide the tickets or return the money, the documents said.

Davender is scheduled to be arraigned in district court on Aug. 10.
