The Body Shop's location inside Fayette Mall has closed. The store was at the end of its lease, but Fayette Mall officials did not know why it chose not to continue. The company's media personnel did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Wednesday.
The vacancy will likely be filled for the time being by what are called temporary tenants, stores that move between vacant spaces, said Melissa Blackburn of Fayette Mall marketing. The mall has no other vacancies, said General Manager Myron Worley.
