Jessamine County: Seniors citizens tour Asbury equine center

Residents of Wesley Village Senior Living Community in Wilmore recently visited the Asbury University Equine Center, where they watched students prepare horses for a training demonstration at the Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Lexington. Asbury is the only university in the nation selected to showcase its program at the international event.

New tourism Web site

Visitnich.com is a new Web site launched by the Nicholasville Tourism Commission that makes it easy to find restaurants, attractions, shopping and accommodations in Nicholasville. The Web site, part of a multipronged campaign with companion brochures and collateral pieces available at the state fair, will offer more interactive and user-friendly enhancements when Phase Two launches later this year.
