Registration begins Sept. 1 for the Driveway to 5K, a nine-week fitness program designed to provide participants with the "drive" to make exercise a part of their daily routines. The program culminates with the Turkey Strut 5K race on Nov. 20. A kickoff event will be held at 10 a.m. Sept. 18 at the Jessamine County Public Library. The program is presented in cooperation with Nicholasville Parks and Recreation, the Jessamine County Health Department, and Wilmore Parks and Recreation.
