A Georgetown man was arrested Saturday on child-pornography charges, according to a press release from the Kentucky attorney general's office.
On Sept. 1, a Scott Circuit Court grand jury indicted Michael Fields, 32, on 105 counts of possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor, a Class D felony.
Fields was lodged in the Scott County Detention Center on a $50,000 full cash bond. He's scheduled to be arraigned Oct. 8, according to the release.
Fields' arrest came as a result of an investigation by the attorney general's Cybercrimes Unit, which began in 2008.
