Boys
■ Bath County (5-1) suffered its first loss of the season when Russell sophomore forward Austin Hunt hit an eight-foot shot in the lane with less than two seconds left in overtime to lift the hosts (4-2) to a 76-75 victory.
■ Madison Central's Dominique Hawkins hit 10 of 14 shots and led all scorers with 29 points, but it wasn't enough as host Lexington Christian evened it record at 3-3 with a 62-59 win.
Carter Helton led the winners with 21 points.
■ Senior forward Zack Hill had 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead host Lincoln County (2-3) past West Jessamine (1-3) 54-50.
■ Deondre McWhorter, a 6-9 senior center who has signed with Morehead State, had 10 points and 11 rebounds, to lead Moore (4-2) past visiting Atherton 82-39. McWhorter sat out the last quarter after securing his fifth double-double in six games.
■ John Southall, a 5-9 junior guard, led all scorers with 18 points, all in the second half, to lead host Marion County (2-2) past winless Green County 54-37.
■ Four Blue Devils got into double figures as host Henry Clay beat Manual 68-57. Daniel Kiesling, a 6-6 senior, led the winners with 16 points.
■ Freshman guard Zach McNeil led the way with 15 points, eight assists and five steals as host Walton-Verona ran it record to 5-1 by routing Lloyd (4-2) 68-46.
■ Junior point guard Jerrell Wickware poured in 33 points and added 14 rebounds and three steals as host Franklin-Simpson ripped Greenwood 65-48
■ Bourbon County remained winless by falling to visiting Montgomery 72-52 even though the game as tied with six minutes left to play.
■ Paris also remained winless, falling behind 23-3 in the first quarter en route to a 81-22 victory for host Clark County.
Girls
■ Senior center Amber Crumbie had 16 points and 10 rebounds and blocked three shots as Bryan Station ran its record to 5-1 by edging visiting Madison Central (1-2) 67-60. Jenna Cornelison led the losers with 23 points.
■ Freshman guard Makenzie Cann had 19 points, eight assists and five rebounds to lead hos Anderson County past Paul Dunbar 79-55. Freshman forward Eriel McKee added 16 points and 12 rebounds for the winners (4-1).
Kierra Muhammad led the losers (3-3) with 18 points.
■ Freshman point guard Essence Gray hit four free throws in overtime to lift Danville (4-1) past visiting Mercer County (3-1) 53-50.
■ Stevi Morgan's game-high 21 points, including 14 in the fourth quarter, helped Clinton County edge visiting Cumberland County 50-49 for its first win. Morgan hit the game-winning free throw with eight seconds left.
