Kentucky men to host NCAA tennis regional

Kentucky, Louisville and Eastern Kentucky received bids Tuesday to play in the men's NCAA tennis tournament.

UK is one of 16 seeded teams in the field of 64, coming in at No. 10. The Cats (26-8) will play host to Cleveland State (16-7) on May 13 at 3 p.m. The winner of that match will play the winner of Louisville (17-11) vs. Cornell (24-6), which also will be contested on May 13 in Lexington.

Eastern Kentucky (21-4) opens tournament play against No. 16 seed North Carolina (15-7) at 1 p.m. on May 13 at Champaign, Ill.

No teams from Kentucky received bids in the women's NCAA touranment.
