Two Harlan County residents have been charged with robbing and killing a man found dead in his home last week, state police said in a news release.

Timothy Turner of Harlan, 34, and his girlfriend, Rachel Osborne, 31, of Mary Alice, are charged with murder, robbery and kidnapping, according to state police.

The two allegedly killed Steve Gibson, 58. Osborne is a relative of Gibson's.

Detective Kenny Abner said he could not immediately release other details of the case, including Gibson's cause of death.

Police arrested the two on Thursday. Turner was being held in the Harlan County Detention Center in lieu of $1 million bond.

No bond had been set for Osborne, according to the jail Web site.
