The ramp from the inner loop of New Circle Road to Harrodsburg Road will be closed from 7 p.m. Thursday until 6 a.m. Monday, the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet announced.
Motorists who would normally use the ramp might want to consider taking Man o' War Boulevard to Harrodsburg Road.
The ramp closing is part of a project to reconfigure the Harrodsburg-New Circle interchange into what's known as a double crossover diamond or diverging diamond design.
One of the primary goals is to increase the through capacity on Harrodsburg Road between Pasadena and Corporate drives and improve left turns onto and off of New Circle by eliminating turns that have drivers crossing in front of oncoming traffic.
The project is scheduled to be complete by Nov. 15.
