Man dead after Clinton County shooting

An Albany man is dead after a Saturday night shooting in Clinton County.

According to Kentucky State Police, James Dyer, 30, was shot during an alleged altercation with Anthony Troxel, 35, also of Albany, at 76 Falls Road at 10:26 p.m.

Dyer was taken to Clinton County Hospital, where he later died. An autopsy is scheduled for Monday. Troxel was arrested and charged with murder.
