Pat Day, Avery Johnson presenters for WinStar Kentucky Cup Day of Champions at Turfway

Hall of Fame jockey Pat Day and New Jersey Nets head coach Avery Johnson will be among guests of WinStar Farm at Turfway Park on Saturday for the WinStar Kentucky Cup Day of Champions.

Day will be available for photos with fans from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. on the Turfway track apron at a display of trophies won by WinStar Farm from the 2010 Kentucky Derby, the 2010 Belmont Stakes, and the 2009 Dubai World Cup.

Later in the afternoon, Day and Johnson will be among guests presenting trophies for the five Kentucky Cup Day of Champions stakes races. All five prepare horses for the Breeders' Cup World Championships in November, to be held this year at Churchill Downs.

First post Saturday is 1:10 p.m. The five Kentucky Cup races are scheduled as races six through 10 on the 12-race card.

Admission and parking are free.
