Glasgow tight end Hunter Bowles committed to the University of Louisville on Wednesday, picking the Cardinals over Kentucky.

"I really felt like a family member up there (at Louisville)," Bowles said. "I think I fit in more there. It's obvious Coach (Charlie) Strong has got things going great, and I want to be part of something special."

Bowles attended the Cards' upset of UK in Commonwealth Stadium two weeks ago, but he said that didn't influence his decision. "I kind of already knew what I wanted to do."

Bowles also had offers from Marshall and Murray State.
