The Susan G. Komen for the Cure Lexington hosted the Race for the Cure at Centre Pointe this year. In 2009, the Komen Lexington Affiliate funded over $500,000 towards breast cancer issues. Up to 75% of the organization's net revenue is used to support local community-based organizations in Central and Eastern Kentucky that provide breast health education, screening, treatment and other services to under served members of our communities.
