A documentary film about the Lexington Legends minor-league baseball team will make its world premiere Tuesday at the Kentucky Theatre. The documentary, produced by Remix Films, is titled Legendary: When Baseball Came to the Bluegrass.

Show time is 7:30 p.m.

The film traces the story of how the Legends and team founder Alan Stein overcame numerous obstacles to create a successful minor-league franchise in Lexington.

It features interviews with notable members of the Legends family, behind-the-scenes photographs and newly discovered film footage documenting the team's history.
