Kentucky's women's basketball team was ranked 15th in the USA Today/ESPN coaches' pre-season poll released Tuesday. It's the second straight year the Cats have been ranked, a first for the program.
Baylor was picked No. 1, followed by Notre Dame, Tennessee, Connecticut and Stanford. Louisville was ninth.
The other Southeastern Conference schools in the top 25 were Georgia (12) and Louisiana State (22).
