■ Baan Isaan Thai Gourmet opened last month at 115 North Locust Hill Drive.

"The special cuisine originates from the people of the northeastern region of Thailand, including Udon Thani, Nong Khai, Koen Khen and Korat. My wife (Mia) is from this region and prepares every dish herself," he said.
