A Lexington man was charged Wednesday with murder in the May death of a man found in his duplex on Centre Parkway.

When Dennis M. Kelly's body was found in May, Fayette County Coroner Gary Ginn called it a "brutal murder."

Lexington police charged Gregory A. Seldon, 37, who was in custody for an unrelated criminal offense, authorities said in a written press release. The unrelated criminal offense was not revealed.

Kelly, 57, was found about 12:12 p.m. by officers at 1282 Centre Parkway, a duplex.

The man had been dead for several days, and he was found by a neighbor, Ginn said at the time.
