Boil-water advisory issued in Clark

A boil-water advisory was issued Sunday by Kentucky American Water for 280 customers in Clark County. The advisory was issued after a water main broke, causing some customers to lose water service and others to have low water pressure.

Locations affected by the boil water advisory are along Amster Grove Lane, Asher Lane, Boonesboro Road, Bridgeview Lane, Coffee Springs, Ford Hampton Road, Hidden Grove Lane, Lisletown Lane, Lisletown Court, Quisenberry Lane, Ralston Lane, School House Lane and Setzlers Lane.

Customers should boil tap water for three minutes before drinking, cooking or making ice. The advisory, issued at 2:50 p.m. Sunday, will last at least 36 hours. Customers with questions about the advisory may call the water company's customer service center at 1-800-678-6301.
