Kentucky's Chandler Burden, Mosley chosen for all-star game

January 12, 2012

University of Kentucky offensive lineman Chandler Burden and cornerback Anthony Mosley will play in the Casino Del Sol College All-Star Game in Tucson, Ariz., on Monday.

The game will feature more than 90 seniors from around the country. Former Mississippi coach Houston Nutt will coach the Stars team. Former Fresno State coach Pat Hill will lead the Stripes. Both Burden and Mosley are on the Stars roster.

Mosley finished the 2011 season with 27 tackles, taking his career total to 63. The native of Ellenwood, Ga., played in all 12 games for UK, making 11 starts.

Burden, from Blue Ash, Ohio, helped anchor the Wildcats offensive front in 2011, starting at left tackle in all 12 games for UK after returning from an injury he sustained at the end of the 2010 season.

Other Southeastern Conference players on the Stars roster are Mississippi defensive end Wayne Dorsey, LSU quarterback Jarrett Lee, Arkansas fullback Broderick Green and Tennessee linebacker Austin Johnson.

The Stars also include Louisville linebacker Dexter Heyman, Morehead State defensive end Jerome Raymond and Murray State wide receiver Dontrell Johnson.
