Attorneys in Donald Southworth's murder case reached agreement in a dispute about evidence, cancelling a motion hearing scheduled for Friday afternoon.

The hearing was about testimony that will be presented at trial next week. Attorneys said they could not comment specifically on the testimony or who was going to present it.

Prosecutor Lou Anna Red Corn and Defense Attorney Mike Rowland went briefly before Judge Kimberly Bunnell to tell her they had reached an agreement. Rowland said afterward that the disagreement was over "when they're going to bring certain evidence in and how they're going to bring it in."

"It was basically housekeeping matters," he said.

Southworth is on trial for the murder of his wife, Umi Southworth, who was found brutally beaten June 9, 2010, behind the Meadowthorpe Avenue apartment she shared with her husband and daughter.

Donald Southworth's trial is scheduled to resume Tuesday.
