A Sharpsburg man died in a single-vehicle wreck in Bath County Friday night.
Rodney A. Shields, 36, was driving a 1999 Dodge Ram pickup north on Little Flat Ledford Road when he veered off the right side of the road, state police said in a news release.
The truck hit a tree and went down a steep embankment, then hit another tree. The crash was reported at 8:32 p.m.
Shields, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.
