Four University of Kentucky professors have been certified to run in an election to replace Joe Peek as the faculty trustee on the UK Board of Trustees.

They are Terry Conners, an associate professor of forestry in the College of Agriculture; Donna Smith, an associate professor of family science in the College of Agriculture; Sheldon Steiner, a biology professor in the College of Arts and Sciences; and John Wilson, a behavioral science professor in the College of Medicine.

Online voting is supposed to begin later this week. Peek, an economics professor, announced his resignation from the board in December after he accepted a job at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston.
