A Clay County woman was killed Sunday in a two-vehicle wreck, state police said.

Sherri K. Turner, 39, of Manchester, was driving west on KY 80 when she turned into the path of an oncoming vehicle while trying to turn into a side road, state police said.

Turner was pronounced dead at the scene.

A passenger in her car, 4-year-old Ashtin Turner, and the driver of the other car, 70-year-old Sophia Feltner of Goose Rock, were flown to the University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital, state police said.

Both were listed in serious condition Monday morning, according to a hospital spokeswoman.
