Frankfort man killed in accident after he was thrown from car

A 21-year-old Frankfort man died Monday night after he was ejected from a car that came to rest on top of him.

About 8 p.m., Matthew G. Miller was driving a 1994 Honda passenger car northbound on Woodlake Road, Ky. 1262, five miles east of Frankfort when he left the road and struck a tree. He was not wearing a seat belt when he was thrown from the car. The car ended up on top of Miller in the road.

A 17-year-old male passenger was taken to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital for treatment. He was wearing a seat belt.
