Single-race tickets for this summer's NASCAR Sprint Cup race at Kentucky Speedway will go on sale Feb. 8, the track announced Wednesday.
Tickets for the Quaker State 400, as well as for the track's four other NASCAR events this year, go on sale that day beginning at 9 a.m.
Kentucky Speedway officials also said Wednesday that customers will be allowed to carry coolers in to all events for the first time.
"I know our fans will be excited by the new cooler policy," Kentucky Speedway General Manager Mark Simendinger said in a news release. "We will support the change by increasing the number of access points and personnel to assure a smooth entry."
Coolers will be limited in size to 14 inches by 14 inches by 14 inches. Customers will be able to carry in snacks, unopened soft drinks and water. Kentucky law prohibits alcoholic beverages of any kind to be carried through the speedway gates.

June 28: Camping World Truck Series UNOH 225 ($30, $40)
June 29: Nationwide Series Feed the Children 300 ($45 to $75)
June 30: Sprint Cup Series Quaker State 400 ($75 to $110)
Sept. 21: Camping World Truck Series Kentucky 225 ($30, $40)
Sept. 22: Nationwide Series Kentucky 300 ($45 to $75)
Fans can buy tickets at www.kentuckyspeedway.com, by calling the track at 1-888-652-7223 or at the speedway offices in Sparta.
In addition to single-race tickets, packages are still available for all five races, the three June races and for campsites and infield entry. Calls regarding those tickets should be directed to (859) 578-2300.
