Boys
■ Jordan Fucci hit a layup as time expired in the third overtime, and Tates Creek won a wild one at home over Paul Laurence Dunbar, 70-68. Fucci finished with 12 points and 10 rebounds, and Darius Gibson led the way for the Commodores (11-13) with 27 points.
With one second to go in regulation, Fucci launched a full-court inbounds pass to DaiQuan Epps, who hit a tying layup. Gibson then missed a game-winning three-pointer at the end of the first overtime.
He redeemed himself in the second OT period, blocking a potential game-winning layup by Dunbar's William Gary with about three seconds to go.
Jamal Adu Peasah led the Bulldogs (16-10) with 20 points.
■ Charles Sweat-Washington hit a free throw with 36 seconds left, and Lafayette edged host Lexington Christian 50-49 in the Central Bank Classic. Sweat-Washington had 15 points and 10 rebounds and came through in the clutch despite finishing 5-for-10 from the foul line. Tranard Chester had 17 points and seven boards for the Generals.
LCA's Tyler Harville hit seven three-pointers, including one to tie the game at 49 with 1:09 left, and led all scorers with 25 points.
■ Craig Floyd had 26 points and eight rebounds, and Dillon Avare hit seven three-pointers for 21 points as Lexington Catholic won 95-81 at Clay County.
All five starters scored in double figures for the Knights, ranked 11th by Dave Cantrall's Rating the State, including Patrick Keller (13), Jack Whitman (12) and Bryan Woomer (11).
■ Letcher County Central scored 74 first-half points on its way to a 133-49 throttling of Cordia. Senior forward Kendall Ballou led four players in double figures with 34 points for the host Cougars. He hit 15 of his 20 shots, and every player in a jersey for Letcher Central (15-10) scored at least three points. The Cougars' onslaught included a 41-point second quarter for a school record.
■ Jaylen Beckham had 29 points, six rebounds and four steals to lead Bryan Station to an 85-74 home win over Franklin County. The Defenders jumped out to a 24-10 first-quarter lead and held on the rest of the way for their third win in four games. Omari Sweat was the only other player who scored in double figures for Bryan Station (10-15). He grabbed nine rebounds, and Kalahari Harris added nine points and 10 boards.
Ryan Timmons led the Flyers (13-12) with 22 points.
■ Jared Rering scored 19 points, and Mason Monroe added 17 as Pendleton County beat Sayre 59-52 at home. Reid Freeman led the Spartans with 23 points, and Ray Brewer added 20 points and 13 rebounds.
■ Junior Omar Prewitt had 40 points, 21 rebounds, six assists, four steals and three blocks to lead Montgomery County over host St. Patrick 85-70.
■ Senior center Matt Day had 33 points and 15 rebounds for Lee County in a 62-55 road win over Buckhorn.
■ Covington Holy Cross senior guard Jake Burger scored a game-high 29 points, and the host Indians hit five of six free throws in the last 51 seconds of overtime to beat No. 23 Covington Catholic 74-68.
Burger got fouled on a made layup to tie the game at 62 with 25 seconds to go in regulation but missed the go-ahead free throw.
■ Quan Taylor had 12 points and 11 rebounds to lead No. 5 Madison Central to a 71-61 home win over Pulaski County three days after the Indians' first loss of the season, against Henry Clay.
■ Junior forward Aaron Jackson scored 20 points and grabbed 12 rebounds to lead host Frankfort over Bath County 67-46.
■ Gallatin County junior guard Kristian Morgan had 19 points, eight assists, seven rebounds and five steals as the host Wildcats held off South Oldham 75-70.
Girls
■ Catie Fletcher and Chelsey Ford scored 13 points apiece, and Woodford County beat Henry Clay 39-31 five days after scoring 80 points on Highlands.
■ Senior forward Sydney Moss scored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds as No. 4 Boone County held off No. 7 Ryle at home after leading by 14 at halftime.
Lydia Nash added 18 points for the Lady Rebels (23-1), and Jenna Crittenden led Ryle (19-4) with 21 points.
