Work will begin on Wednesday on a two-year project to widen a portion of U.S. 68 in Bourbon County.
A 6.4-mile stretch of U.S. 68 between Paris and Millersburg, beginning at the east edge of the Paris Bypass, will be widened from two lanes to four lanes, according to a news release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.
The agency said it will be several months before the project significantly impacts traffic. The project is expected to be complete in April 2014.
