Services are announced for former UK player Jim Dinwiddie

Memorial services for Jim Dinwiddie, the former University of Kentucky basketball player who died Tuesday, will be at 4 p.m. CST Sunday at Leitchfield First Baptist Church.

Visitation will precede the service from 2 to 4 p.m. at the church.

Dinwiddie was a 6 foot, 4 inch guard who played for the Wildcats under Adolph Rupp for three seasons, from 1968 to 1971, scoring 277 points in his career.

He was drafted in the 10th round of the 1971 NBA draft by the Philadelphia 76ers.

Watson and Hunt Funeral Directors in Leitchfield is in charge of arrangements.
