Lexington's basketball district tourney pairings set

We're only a week away from the start of the high school basketball post-season in Kentucky, and district tournament pairings have been settled for schools in Lexington.

District winners and runners-up will advance to the 11th Region Tournament at Eastern Kentucky University's McBrayer Arena in Richmond.

Here is how things will play out:

Boys' 42nd District at Henry Clay

Feb. 21: Scott County vs. Sayre, 8 p.m.

Feb. 22: Henry Clay vs. Bryan Station, 8 p.m.

Feb. 24: Finals, 8 p.m.

Boys' 43rd District at Lexington Catholic

Feb. 20: Lexington Christian vs. Paul Laurence Dunbar, 8 p.m.

Feb. 21: Tates Creek vs. Lafayette, 8 p.m.

Feb. 22: Lexington Catholic vs. LCA-Dunbar winner, 8 p.m.

Feb. 24: Finals, 8 p.m.

Girls' 42nd District at Henry Clay

Feb. 21: Scott County vs. Henry Clay, 6 p.m.

Feb. 22: Bryan Station vs. Sayre, 6 p.m.

Feb. 24: Finals, 6 p.m.

Girls' 43nd District at Lexington Catholic

Feb. 20: Tates Creek vs. Lexington Christian, 6:30 p.m.

Feb. 21: Paul Laurence Dunbar vs. Lafayette, 6:30 p.m.

Feb. 22: Lexington Catholic vs. Tates Creek-LCA winner, 6:30 p.m.

Feb. 24: Finals, 6:30 p.m.
