The lowdown: Half-brother to 2009 Kentucky Derby winner Mine That Bird won the Grade I Breeders' Futurity last October but is expected to make his 2012 debut on the turf in the Palm Beach Stakes at Gulfstream on March 11. Missed a couple of works because of illness.
