Farmers Capital Bank Corp.: John L. Pendergrass has been named vice president of special assets. J. Bradford "Brad" Southworth has been named assistant vice president, internal audit.

First Security Bank of Owensboro: Ryan M. Cooper has been named assistant vice president, commercial lending and will serve in the bank's Lexington market.

PNC Mortgage: Joni Watts has joined the company as a mortgage loan officer.

Blue & Co.: Will Harward has been named a senior manager in the regional public accounting firm's Lexington office. Scott Taylor has been named a staff accountant in the firm's Lexington office.

Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati: Donald Mullineaux, duPont Endowed Chair in Banking and Financial Services in the Gatton College of Business and Economics at the University of Kentucky, has been re-elected to a two-year term as a director of the Federal Home Loan Bank of Cincinnati.

Financial Institutions Board: Gov. Steven L. Beshear has appointed two new members to the board and reappointed another member. Charles Beach III of Beattyville has been reappointed to represent the banking industry, which will also be represented by new member, Dale Sights of Henderson. Joe Roberts of Lexington has been appointed to represent the securities industry. All three will serve terms that expire on Oct. 10, 2015.

Health care

Lexington Clinic Foundation: Dr. Elizabeth Lehmann Simpson has been named to the foundation's board of trustees.

Delomas Interventional Pain Management: Kim Martin PA-C has joined the staff.

Law

Dinsmore: Michael G. Adams, general counsel for the Republican Governors Association, has joined Dinsmore's Washington, D.C., and Kentucky offices. He joins the firm as a partner in the Government Relations Practice Group, focusing his practice on political law.

Stoll Keenon Ogden: Erica L. Horn and Jennifer S. Smart have joined the firm's State and Federal Tax Practice as counsel to the firm and will work out of SKO's Lexington office.

Organizations

Kentucky Distillers' Association: Adam Johnson of Danville has joined the group as the first-ever manager of the KDA's Kentucky Bourbon Trail experience.

National Instant Criminal Background Check System Subcommittee and the Uniform Crime Reporting Subcommittee: Fayette County Sheriff Kathy H. Witt, who serves as the First Vice Chair of the Federal Bureau of Investigation's CJIS Advisory Policy Board, has been appointed to serve on the subcommittees.

The Nest Center for Women, Children & Families: Beth Dotson Brown has been named communications and grants director. Carol Whipple has been named development director.

Other

American Water: Linda Bridwell has been named manager of rates and regulation for Kentucky American Water and Tennessee American Water. Bridwell, a Lexington native and licensed professional engineer in Kentucky, is a 23-year employee of Kentucky American Water and has served as director of water quality and environmental compliance since 2010.
