Battalion Chief Kristin Chilton photographed the afghan after the unveiling on Monday, Feb. 13, 2012 at Fire House #18, 7115 Richmond Road in Lexington, Ky. Fire Lt. Brenda Cowan was shot and killed while responding to a call on Feb. 13, 2004. A knitted afghan was unveiled Monday morning at her fire station in tribute to Cowan.
