STARKVILLE, Miss. – The Kentucky women invited up to 8,000 of their closest friends to join them Sunday night in celebrating the program's first Southeastern Conference title in 30 years.

The SEC title, UK’s first since 1982, will be celebrated on Sunday at 7 p.m. at Memorial Coliseum after the team returns from its game at Mississippi State this afternoon.

With a big 76-40 win at Humphrey Coliseum over Mississippi State, the Cats earned the title outright.

Admission is free to the event, and doors at Memorial Coliseum will open at 6 p.m.

The team is expected to arrive around 7 p.m.
