At least five West Liberty churches will join together Sunday for a community worship service on the West Liberty campus of Morehead State University.
The service will begin at 10:30 a.m. in the auditorium at 155 University Drive.
The West Liberty United Methodist Church, Church of Christ, First Baptist Church and Christian Church and Broadway First Church of God are all scheduled to participate in the service, which will include singing, prayer, comments from ministers and general fellowship.
Jonell Tobin, director of MSU at West Liberty, said in an email that MSU President Wayne Andrews gave approval to make the auditorium available for community worship services on Sundays for as long as is necessary.
Also on Sunday, Bishop Ronald W. Gainer, head of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Lexington, will celebrate Mass at 9 a.m. on the grounds of St. Luke Church in Salyersville.
The church was destroyed by the March 2 tornado.
