Police arrested a naked Bell County man in the bathroom of a truck stop at Corbin early Saturday, Laurel County Sheriff John Root said in a news release.

Several children had seen the man in the restroom with no clothes on and told managers at the Pilot Oil Truck Stop, 12 miles south of London, who called police, according to the news release.

The man, William M. Hoskins, 30, of Stoney Fork, was in the bathroom naked when Deputy Kirk Mays arrived, according to the release.

Hoskins was not intoxicated. It's not known why he was sitting naked in the bathroom, said Deputy Gilbert Acciardo Jr., spokesman for Root's office.

When Mays told Hoskins to put on some clothes, he did, but he had allegedly stolen the shirt he put on from the truck stop.

Police charged Hoskins with indecent exposure and shoplifting, according to the news release. The incident occurred Saturday at 1:56 a.m.
