With the University of Kentucky men's basketball team in its second consecutive Final Four on Saturday, Lexington bars, restaurants and other venues are pulling out all the stops to help patrons cheer the Wildcats past the University of Louisville Cardinals to Monday's championship game.

Read on for drink and food specials on Saturday and Monday at area bars and restaurants that responded to our request for their plans. There are no cover charges unless listed.

Bd's Mongolian Grill. 2309 Sir Barton Way, (859) 264-0686, Gomongo.com. Opens 11 a.m. both days. Specials during the game include $4 pitchers of beer, $1 domestic drafts and 50-cent chicken wings.

Bigg Blue Martini. 369 W. Vine St., in lobby of Hilton Lexington/Downtown; (859) 231-9000, Thebiggbluemartini.com. Opens 1 p.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Monday. All-day specials include $2 Bud Light drafts. On Saturday, local band Plan B will play at 9:30 p.m. If UK advances to Monday's championship, a band will be booked for that night.

Bourbon n' Toulouse. 829 Euclid Ave., (859) 335-0300, Bntlex.com. Opens 11 a.m. Saturday and will have 60- and 42-inch televisions, and three smaller ones. Drink specials include $3 Abita drafts. Beads will be given away. It will be closed Monday.

Buffalo Wild Wings. 1080 S. Broadway, No. 104, (859) 233-2999, Buffalowildwings.com. Opens 11 a.m. both days. Will serve True Blue shots, which include blue liqueur, Lexington-made Pure Blue Vodka and a sweetener, for $3.75.

Buster's Billiards & Backroom. 899 Manchester St., (859) 368-8871, Bustersbb.com. Opens 5 p.m. Saturday. Alternative rock band Sponge will play free after the game, which will be shown on TVs in the front room. Those who purchased tickets to the show will get refunds. $3 Pabst Blue Ribbon tall boys.

Campus Pub. 393 Waller Ave., (859) 231-0957, Campuspub.net. Opens at 11 a.m. both days. All-day specials include $1.50 Pabst Blue Ribbons and Rolling Rock 12 oz. beers.

Casanova. 855 S. Broadway, (859) 309-3313, Casanovaky.com. Opens 4 p.m. Saturday and 5 p.m. Monday. Drink specials include half-off domestic beer, house wine and well drinks. Specially produced appetizers include chicken wings, calimari, panzarotti Italian potato and Arancini pastries.

The Cellar Bar & Grille. 3256 Lansdowne Dr., (859) 317-8301, Cellargrille.com. Opens 11 a.m. both days. Specials during games include $6.50 pitchers of Bud Light and Miller Lite, and $11 buckets with 5 bottles of Budweiser, Bud Light, Miller Lite or Coors Light. Also, bar specials 4-7 p.m. Monday are $2 well drinks; $1.75 Budweiser, Bud Light, Miller Lite or Coors Light; $2 off top-shelf liquor and $2 off appetizers.

Cheapside Bar and Grill. 131 Cheapside, (859) 254-0046, Cheapsidebarandgrill.com, Opens 11 a.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. Monday. A band will perform after Saturday's game. A cover charge of $5 is required after 10 p.m. On Monday, martinis will be $4 after 5 p.m.

Chinoe Pub. 1050 Chinoe Rd., (859) 269-0557. Opens 10 a.m. both days. Drink specials include $10 buckets of 6 beers (Budweiser, Bud Light, Coors Light and Miller Lite).

The Copper Still. 212 W. Water St., Richmond, (859) 624-8110. Opens 2 p.m. both days. Specials include $1.75 domestic bottled beer, $1.50 canned beer, $2.25 well drinks and $1.50 domestic beer drafts. Live music Saturday by Tim Hellard at 10:30 p.m.

Hugh Jass Burgers. S. Limestone and Euclid Ave., (859) 357-8934, Hughjassburgers.com. Opens 10 a.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Monday. The restaurant and bar will have a New Orleans theme complete with free beads. Specials include Cajun fries for $1.79, appetizer sampler for $9.99, 15-wing platter for $10.99 and the Brow Down shot, in honor of Anthony Davis, for $2. The drink includes vodka, blue Curaçao liqueur and pink lemonade. Only ages 21 and older are allowed inside.

The Ketch Seafood Grill. 2012 Regency Rd., (859) 277-5919, Ketchseafoodgrill.com. Opens 11 a.m. both days. All-day specials include $5.99 Big Blue 'rita blue margarita, $3.50 bottles of New Orleans Dixie Beer; half off catfish paws, which are pieces of catfish; $2.25 domestic draft pints; $2.25 domestic bottled beers, and $2.50 well drinks. Also, during the games only, tacos are 50 cents.

The Local Taco. 315 S. Limestone, (859) 523-3700, Thelocaltacolex.com. Opens 11 a.m. both days. Drink specials include $10 buckets of 5 bottles of beer (Budweiser, Bud Light, Miller Lite, Michelob Ultra, Corona and Corona Light). There will be corn hole games behind the restaurant.

Lynagh's Irish Pub. 384 Woodland Ave., (859) 255-1292, Lynaghsirishpub.com. Opens 11 a.m. both days. The bar will sell 2-for-1 well shots during halftime of the games. Radio stations Z-103 and Hot 102 will broadcast live from 4-6 p.m. Saturday. A band will play after Saturday's game.

McCarthy's Irish Bar. 117 S. Upper St., (859) 258-2181, Mccarthysirishbar.com. Opens 11 a.m. both days. Specials during the games include $3 well drinks; $2.50 domestic bottles and drafts; $6 for Big Ginger drinks, which include a double shot of Jameson Irish Whiskey and ginger ale; and $6 for both a shot of Jameson's and any domestic beer.

Merrick Inn. 1074 Merrick Dr., (859) 269-5417, Themerrickinn.com. Opens 5 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. Monday. Specials during both games include half-off beers, well drinks and selected appetizers. During Saturday's game, selected glasses of wine will be half-off; during Monday's game, selected bottles will be half-off.

Natasha's Bistro & Bar. 112 Esplanade, (859) 259-2754, Beetnik.com. Opens 11 a.m. both days. The restaurant's front and back patios will be open before and after the games. All-day specials include 2-for-1 drafts, $3 Cosmopolitans and $4 Long Island iced teas.

Nick Ryan's Saloon. 157 Jefferson St., (859) 233-7900, Nickryans.com. Opens 11 a.m. Saturday and 11:30 a.m. Monday. All-day specials Saturday include $11 buckets of 5 bottles of beer (Budweiser, Bud Light and Bud Light Platinum), the Big Blue Easy blueberry mint julep and Big Blue Burger with blue cheese and bacon. If you wear UK apparel, you'll be entered in a drawing to win one of two $50 gift cards. If UK wins, the gift cards will be doubled to $100. Monday's specials and giveaways have not been set.

O'Neill's Traditional Irish Pub. 2051 Richmond Rd., Suite 140, (859) 266-4488, Oneillsirishpub.com. Opens 11 a.m. Saturday and 3 p.m. Monday. WVLK-590 AM host Larry Glover will broadcast live from 4-6 p.m. Saturday and for one hour after game. Specials both days include 50-cent wings, $10 bucket of 5 domestic beers, $2 blue Jell-O shots and blue-colored Natural Light beer. "Swat team" T-shirts will be distributed free during games. $5 cover Saturday.

Specials during both games include $4 select pints of beer, $1 off other drafts, $2 domestic bottled beer, $3.95 for selected appetizers and $5 for the UK hot brown burger with fries. Also, on Monday, happy hour from 3-7 p.m. will include $4 select pints of beer, $1 off other drafts and $3.95 for selected appetizers. There will be a trivia game from 7:30 p.m. until tip-off, with the winning team receiving a $25 credit on their bill and a $25 credit for their next visit.

Regatta Seafood Grille's The Boathouse bar. 161 Lexington Green Cir., (859) 273-7875, Regattaseafood.com. Opens 11:15 a.m. both days. The bar will serve a $5.95 blue frozen drink dubbed "Wildcat Lemonade."

Rupp Arena. 430 W. Vine St., (859) 233-3535, Rupparena.com. The Kentucky Invitational Truck & Tractor Pull will hold a pit party at 5:30 p.m. Saturday in the arena, and the game will be broadcast inside and in the concourses. The truck and tractor pull will begin after the game. $16-26 for adults, $11 ages 2-12.

The Secret Bar & Grill. 841 Lane Allen Rd., (859) 317-8673, Facebook.com/SecretBarandGrill. Opens 11 a.m. Saturday and 5 p.m. Monday. It will have a 6-foot projection TV. Specials 5:30-11 p.m. Saturday and after 9 p.m. Monday are $10 buckets of 5 domestic beers, $5.50 pitchers of domestic beer, $3 well drinks, $2 well shots, $2.25 bottles of domestic beer. Half-off banana peppers, jalapeño poppers and sausage bite appetizers.

The Tin Roof. 303 S. Limestone, (859) 317-9111, Tinroofbars.com. Opens 10 a.m. both days. The restaurant is fencing off its parking lot and erecting a 9-foot-by-16-foot television to show the games. $5 cover charge to enter the bar.

Two Keys Tavern. 333 S. Limestone, (859) 254-5000, Twokeystavern.com. Opens 10 a.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Monday. Specials both days include $10 bags of five canned beers and $3 Big Blue Nation shots, made of blue raspberry vodka, Sprite and sour mix. A DJ will perform after Saturday's game.

Village Host Pizza and Grill. 431 Old Vine St., (859) 455-3355, Villagehostlex.com. Opens 11 a.m. both days. A tent will be placed over the patio, which will have three 55-inch televisions. Drink specials are blue Wildcat Lemonade (Tropical Pucker liqueur, Absolut vodka, Sprite and simple syrup) for $6 ,or $8 with a light-up Wildcats stir stick. There will be 32-ounce Big Blue mugs for beer for $6 to $8. Strings of beads with blue basketballs will be available while supplies last, and a DVD of past UK basketball achievements will be shown before the games.

VUE. 201 E. Main St., 15th floor of Chase Tower, (859) 523-0333, Vue-lex.com. Nightclub opens at 5:30 p.m. Specials include half-off appetizers from the bar menu and happy hour drink specials.

Winchell's Restaurant & Bar. 348 Southland Dr., (859) 278-9424, Winchellsrestaurant.com. Opens 8 a.m. both days. Specials during games include $2 off all appetizers, $1.50 drafts, $2 bottles of domestic beers and $2.50 well drinks. The restaurant will serve smoked cardinal, aka chicken, on Saturday with "red" barbecue sauce, and lamb chops in honor of UK player Doron Lamb. The bar will serve The Unibrow, shots of blue UV vodka and Red Bull; the Red Crush, red UV vodka and Red Bull; and the True Blue Cosmo made with Absolut, blue Curaçao liqueur, and white cranberry and lime juice.

Other venues

Kentucky Theatre. 214 E. Main St., (859) 231-6997, Kentuckytheater.com. Games will be shown free in the theater's 800-seat auditorium, which will open at 4:30 p.m. Saturday. An opening time was not available for Monday should UK advance to the championship.

Movie Tavern. 133 N. Locust Hill Dr., (859) 266-4667, Movietavern.com. The combination restaurant and movie theater will have at least two screens devoted to Saturday's game and four for Monday's. Admission is free but tickets are required; limit of five per person. Available first-come, first-served at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Monday.

Quest Community Church. 410 Sporting Ct., (859) 277-2014. Questcommunity.com. Opens at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. The game will be broadcast on a 40-foot high-definition screen. A decision whether to show Monday's game will be made after Saturday's game.
