Harrison County man killed in one-vehicle crash near Cynthiana

A Harrison County man was killed in a one-vehicle crash early Monday northwest of Cynthiana.

Ricky Mulwee, 46, lost control of the 1993 Chevrolet pickup truck he was driving on Robinson Road, according to Kentucky State Police. The truck went over an embankment, hit a tree and rolled, throwing Mulwee from the cab. He was pronounced dead at the scene by the Harrison County coroner.

Two passengers, 33-year-old Wesley Cozine and 31-year-old Lacy Plats, were taken to Harrison Memorial Hospital with minor injuries then released. Police arrested Cozine on unrelated charges from a warrant.

The crash remains under investigation by police.
