The second man accused in the murder of a Henry Clay High School student turned himself into the sheriff's office.
Dominique Godfrey, 21, faces one count of murder, two counts of first-degree assault and one count of robbery for his alleged role in the March 19 shooting of Chaz Black, 16.
Black was shot and killed at an apartment on Palumbo Drive while a group of people were shooting dice the morning after a party. Two others were shot as they tried to run away, police have said. Deionta Hayes, 21, is accused of pulling the trigger.
Police have said Godfrey was overheard giving Hayes directions to the apartment prior to the shooting. Godfrey and Hayes both ran away together afterward, police said.
Only Hayes was arrested initially, though a grand jury indicted Godfrey as well as Hayes last month. Godfrey could not be located, and was featured on May 16 in the "Lexington's Most Wanted" photo gallery. Most Wanted is a partnership between the Fayette County sheriff and Kentucky.com.
Godfrey turned himself in May 31, said Jennifer Miller, a spokeswoman for the Fayette County Sheriff's Office.
