Timothy Wayne O'Neal, 46, of Paris, died Thursday afternoon, about an hour after the heavy duty flatbed truck he was driving ran off U.S. 460 in Bourbon County because of a tire failure, according to the Fayette County coroner's office.

O'Neal's vehicle ran off the right side of the roadway, overturned and struck a tree, the coroner's office said it was told by the Bourbon County sheriff's office. O'Neal was flown to University of Kentucky Chandler Hospital in Lexington, where he was pronounced dead at 2:18 p.m.
