Hey, area arts groups: Summer has just arrived, but we're already thinking about fall, when we'll publish our special preview to the 2012-13 arts season.

Concerts, plays, art and museum exhibits, musicals, comedy acts, dance events, ballets, operas and more in Kentucky and the Cincinnati area will be included in the annual performing-arts calendar, to be published in early September in the Herald-Leader. The calendar is designed to be kept by our readers for their use through late spring.

To make sure your performance company, organization or college's activities or productions are part of our guide, go to our online calendar, get registered (it's free) and submit your events. (But first, search the calendar to make sure your events aren't already listed, because many are.)

If the Internet is not your thing, you can submit your season listings (with complete information, including times, dates, places, ticket prices and contact info) by email to hhendren@herald-leader.com.
