A Rockcastle County man died in a wreck Tuesday night.

George Johnson, 58, of Climax was a passenger in a Chevrolet Camaro that flipped after its driver lost control on Climax Road near Mount Vernon at about 6 p.m., said Rockcastle County Coroner Bill Dowell.

Johnson, who was not wearing a seat belt, was partially ejected from the car, he said.

The driver of the Camaro was taken to a local hospital, but Dowell said he did not believe the driver's injuries were life threatening.
