Marlena and John Hoover, with help from their 4-year-old daughter Jaidyn, moved into their new Habitat For Humanity house, 404 Brown Street in Berea, Ky., Friday, July 13, 2012. Habitat has just finished the house which is the first Passive House it’s ever built in Kentucky. The Hoovers, along with daughters Madison and Jaidyn, were moving in today. The house has several passive features to reduce energy including double thick walls, highly efficient windows, and extra insulation.
