Lexington police are asking for the public's help in identifying a woman wanted for her alleged involvement in a credit card scam.
A number of people who are thought to be customers of one bank have had their credit card information stolen, according to a news release from Lexington police. Police said the credit card information is then used to buy gift cards, which are being used to make purchases. Police did not name the bank.
Anyone with information about the woman's identity should call the financial crimes unit at (859) 258-3700. Tips also may be submitted online at Bluegrasscrimestoppers.com or by texting "tips2020" plus the message to 274637.
